When I reflect upon the characteristics that make Heritage Heights Baptist Church special, three words come to mind: loving, caring, and growing.  The first word which characterizes Heritage Heights is love.  As a pastor, I have never served a more loving congregation.  The love of this body of believers is authentic and contagious.      

The next word that aptly describes this church is caring.  True love always manifests itself in a concern for others.  Over the years I have observed first-hand the caring nature of this family of faith. This is especially evident during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina when the church mobilized and ministered to persons within the community and along the coast.

The third word that is descriptive of this congregation is growing.  Heritage Heights Baptist Church continues to grow spiritually and numerically.  Spiritually, the members of this congregation give evidence of a growing Christian faith and walk with Christ.  Numerically, the Lord has continued to add precious individuals and families to the congregation.
